  OVERVIEW

A BBQ INSTITUTION'S DESIGN PROTOTYPE — BUILT TO SCALE WITHOUT LOSING ITS SOUL.

R&R BBQ earned its reputation the hard way — through competition wins, national recognition, and lines of hungry diners willing to wait for the real thing. The design had to match that authenticity. Rough wood and steel set a rustic yet modern tone, while a chalk art wall and hanging wood ceiling sculptures give the space a creative energy that goes beyond the expected. A covered patio extends the dining experience outdoors with a more casual, open-air feel. Beyond the aesthetic, Babcock worked closely with the owners to rethink the cook line and kitchen layout for greater efficiency and functionality — listening carefully to understand the operation before touching the design. The result established a prototype that R&R could take into future locations without losing the character that made people line up in the first place.
