The new Intermountain Health Sports Performance Center is a new 60,000 square foot clinic, located adjacent to the new Utah Jazz Basketball Practice Center. It will provide clinical services for Physical Therapy, Sports Medicine, Musculoskeletal Medicine, Imaging and Family Medicine on the main floor. The second floor will house a new Orthopedic Ambulatory Surgical Center, with 4 new surgical suites for outpatient surgery. It will be open to the public, but will also serve every level of athlete, from the weekend warrior to the professional. Its focus will be wellness and a "return to performance" for those who have suffered a sports injury, while still providing services for other members of the family.
