Principal

John brings nearly 37 years of experience to his role as Principal at Babcock Design — and the range of his project history reflects it. Warehouses, correctional facilities, libraries, aquatic centers, museums: the kind of breadth that comes only from decades of showing up for whatever a client needs and figuring it out. What draws John to this work, above all, is the people it puts him in contact with — the colleagues who share the studio and the clients and communities encountered along the way. Outside the office, he stays in motion: traveling, biking, hiking, kayaking, snowboarding, painting, and reading. Apparently sitting still isn't really his thing.
