Carmine has been with Babcock Design since 2015, bringing a perspective on architecture that was shaped long before he joined the firm. As the son of Italian immigrants, he grew up with an innate appreciation for cultural diversity and the way the built environment reflects the communities it serves. That passion has taken him well beyond the studio — he has joined design teams building schools, homes, and hospitals in Honduras, Africa, and the Philippines, and for several years has lived abroad, immersed in the cultures and landscapes that continue to inform his work. Back home at the drawing board, the same eye for beauty, order, and meaning shapes everything he brings to a project.
