Rob has been with Babcock Design since 2001 and the lead Principal since 2008. He is the firm’s design leader in institutional, commercial and higher education design. Rob has over two decades of experience and has had the privilege of working on many diverse projects over his career, such as public safety buildings, high-rise offices, convention centers, Olympic venues, city halls, recreation centers, libraries, mixed-use and retail projects. Over the course of his career, he has developed a specialty in building envelope design including curtain walls. Rob is a native of Salt Lake City and a graduate of the University of Utah with a Master of Architecture. He welcomes the challenge of solving complex design problems and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with clients, contractors and consultants.
Rob is an avid fan of motorsports and enjoys driving sports cars at the local track and auto-crossing whenever he can. He and his wife are also huge supporters of the University of Utah football team and never miss a home game.
