Rick has gained comprehensive experience in the AEC industry through construction in residential, commercial, and industrial fabrication, and architectural experience in multi-family, medical, assisted living, and retail. Rick chose Architecture for a career to provide a service to others with the ultimate goal to promote well-being. He received his Master of Architecture from the University of Idaho in 2000. In 1998 Rick won the Global Home Design Competition. The design was accepted by the United Nations Center for Human Settlements in Nairobi, Africa.
Rick enjoys trail running, mountain biking, and has been a licensed skydiver for 13 years. His most memorable skydive was into BYU stadium for a Stadium of Fire event. He has 10 nieces and nephews and is a great-uncle to one niece.
