The new downtown Boise City Center Plaza is a mixed use development having a total of 371,000 SF. The project consists of the ten-story Clearwater Analytics building including Boise State University’s computer science department, and one level of retail and restaurants. The Boise Centre building is five stories with one level of restaurants and two levels of parking. Below all these buildings is an underground multi-modal transit center that is a central hub for local transit services including buses, bicyclists and pedestrians.
Constructed on the south side of the U.S. Bank Building is a 15,000 SF ballroom and a 7,000 SF commercial kitchen. Additionally, a 14,000 SF meeting center on the west side of the U. S. Bank Building includes 7,000 SF of pre-function space. This project is a catalyst for the Boise downtown economic development bringing together multiple public and private entities. The project was completed fall of 2016.
