As Design Director for Babcock Design, Darin brings a broad range of experience. Early in his career, he focused on architectural design for several large hospitality projects in diverse parts of the world. Over the last twenty years, his vision and talent has influenced the master plan of several mixed-use projects including Boise City Center, The District at Daybreak, The Junction in Downtown Ogden, Nampa Library Square and 8th & Main in Downtown Boise. Bell has also been involved with notable collegiate projects on the campuses of Brown and Tufts University as well as various medical and office facilities throughout Utah and Idaho. His residential work ranges from desert and mountain retreats connected with rugged natural settings, to multi-family housing creatively integrated into the mixed-use plan. Darin’s attention to proportion, scale and detail is evident in the several mixed use and institutional projects he has designed throughout the region.
Darin loves to hike, camp and ski with his wife and two teenage boys.
